Humanitarian and Development Sector
These courses prepare humanitarian and development workers for activities in often post-conflict countries or countries with active war conflicts. Many risks are associated with the terrain itself, different cultures, and prolonged isolation in a remote location. The key principle here is risk minimization, which increases the safety of individuals and organizations.
For this purpose, we have developed a refined system, which we call QRST - Quick Reaction Stress Training. At the beginning, you will acquire basic theoretical knowledge of safety, which will later be tested in model situations. The next part of the training takes place in a controlled environment and focuses on crisis conditions. We work with time and sleep deprivation as a natural part of risk exposure. Participants must act under pressure while maintaining their own control and a clear mind and apply the most effective crisis solutions. Through this approach, we achieve a real transfer of acquired knowledge, experience, and personal and team development.
The training can be adapted to a specific country or task for which workers are being prepared.
